 I've got a few to add here. Especially the one that taught me how to write HTML and create this wonderful site!

Creating my Web Site

  • Web Attention - Is actually my web host. A lot of sites don't mention their hosts. I really like my host because the service is extremely affordable, and I get my own banner-free, SSI allowed, wonderful web space. This is the 4th in a string of hosts I have been with after experiencing growing pains and not so good service.
  • HTML Tutorial - The best tutorial I've come across. Incredibly practical, and FREE!
  • HTML Kit - The free HTML editor I use for writing stationery scripts and other occasions when Dreamweaver acts screwy.
  • Site Meter - A counter that gives you a visible visitor count on your site and has other options too.
  • Bravenet - Have great tools like guestbooks, mailing lists, and oodles more.
  • Dynamic Drive - Have FREE Java Scripts available.

Graphics Related

  • Paint Shop Pro - I'm always on a quest for great free software, but I just had to buy Paint Shop Pro. I even tried Adobe PhotoShop, but it wasn't as easy and web design focused as Paint Shop Pro. It's well worth the money. I own version 7 and version 8.
  • Fly By Night Graphics - I feel privileged to be able to belong to Fly By Night Graphics. This is a Yahoo Group and we complete tutorials and other graphics challenges using Paint Shop Pro. As well as learning heaps there is a sense of community and fun as well.
  • Dazzle Us Groups - Tubes and PSP groups founded by Jazzl.  If you want to learn to make PSP tubes then this is the place to go.
  • Irfan View - This program is my best little friend and is a graphics viewer. It is a small program and opens as quick as a flash. It will even view animations. I use Irfan View for all of my graphics file associations because it is so impressive.
  • Moon and Back Graphics - Gorgeous work that has been made into sets and all with the permission of the artist.
  • Full Moon Graphics - Unusual and fascinating page sets.

Get Connected

  • ICQ - Has to be about the best message facility around. I was an early adopter and my number is #3272303.
  • Yahoo - Which has great games, and a fantastic community. This is where the aromatherapy club I started lives.
  • Trillian - combines ICQ, Yahoo, AIM, and MSN messaging facilities and IRC chat all into one nifty little program. A must-have, and free!!

  • FLY Lady - Not a site about how to clean and run your household and life, but rather a site that changes your attitudes.
